       Egg vitrification: Egg Vitrification helps preserve the fertility of a woman .Here, the retrieved eggs are rapidly frozen with the help of cryoprotectants by a process called vitrification. Use of cryoprotectants and Vitrification of eggs can protect the egg cell from cellular damage and formation of ice crystals.

 

       Assisted Hatching: Assisted hatching is done before the embryo transfer procedure where infrared laser beams break the embryos from its outer protective shell called Zona Pellucida. This manipulation of the embryos is essential for optimal implantation and to improve the chances of a successful IVF.

 

       Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): ICSI involves the injection of sperm directly into the cytoplasm of the egg. This technique solves major fertility problems in both men and women.

       Preimplantation genetic screening/diagnosis (PGS/PGD): PGS/PGD involves screening of embryos for the presence of chromosomal anomalies. Typically, a few cells from the embryo are extracted on the 5th day after fertilization and the genetic element is tested to eliminate the embryos with DNA aberrations. Implantation of genetically fit embryos can lower pregnancy risks and incidence of genetic defects in the child.
